Do you ever just get worn down after a long week? And the next thing you know your anxiety is back up? It’s so important to do check-ins with yourself and your mental health. Recently, I’ve been going through many changes in my life, all good things, but sometimes I like to take inventory of who and what I’m surrounding myself with and giving my energy to.
It’s important because I don’t have a lot of extra energy to spare as a new mom. I decided that I needed a detox—both internally and externally. When it came to my body, I found this charcoal detox bath salt that helps detoxify while reducing stress, tension, and inflammation. Then, I took a look at what was causing drama or negativity in my life, and listed what (and who) I needed to take a step back from.
It’s important, well vital actually, to look at who has good intentions and who’s a bit more questionable. People can wish you the best day in and day out, but that doesn’t mean they actually mean it.
