You’ve heard it a million times before: everything is energy. But when was the last time you really prioritized your own energy?
As an energy healer and breathwork practitioner, I’ve witnessed the real transformational change that can happen when people tune into their own energy and honor the truth that’s inside of them. As a founder of a global wellness company as well as a model who literally won Project Runway through energetic practices, I have seen alignment and intentional energy change EVERYTHING!
In my 10 years of practicing professionally, I’ve seen some truly wild things happen: people leaving careers to follow their dreams, getting pregnant (after years of infertility), entering or leaving marriages, calling in major manifestations from soulmates to dream homes, healing physical ailments that were said to be beyond help, connecting with loved ones who’ve crossed over, the list goes on…
Like many healers, I came to this work because I had my own healing to do. For me, I was thankfully introduced to the concepts of the soul and meditation from the early age of 4 and from there my destiny was bound to the healing path. I find that when we are willing to face our wounds, with love and acceptance, we can literally transform our own lives instantly. But it takes courage and a willingness to remain in the present moment.
So how do you do that you ask?
Integrative Energy Healing
Integrative Energy Healing is my own style of energetic work that I’ve developed and taught over the years. With a focus on the chakra system, this practice clears and opens blocked or stuck energies that can make us feel heavy and disconnected from Source.
Integrative Energy Healing relies on the universal energy currents running through all of us, but I also like to bring intuition and connection with the spirit realm into this work. IEH works off of the belief that we have everything we need within and that within this inner realm is our true and infinite source of healing and wisdom.
I share my framework and approach to healing with my students in Integrative Energy Healing training, but it is my true belief that anyone can become their own healer if they set the intention and commit to the practices that support them to find it within! To become your own healer, it’s important to be clear on your own beliefs about your own power and potential to heal. Then see if you can make space and time to tune into yourself with the tools that I share below.
Simply a style of altering your breathing pattern, breathwork is simpler than people often assume – but that doesn’t mean it’s easy.
There are hundreds of styles of breathwork, each with different goals in mind, and you may have heard of some like Wim Hoff, box breath or pranayama. The style of breathwork that I teach and practice with my clients is my approach to Holotropic breathwork, a three-part breath done all through the mouth with the goal of using the breath to go into deeper states of presence and altered states of consciousness so that you can see yourself, your stories and experiences from a new perspective.
If you’re interested in trying our approach to breathwork, I have a free practice for you. This week, set aside 20 minutes to do this work and I promise you’ll feel the benefits. I recommend doing breathwork lying down in a quiet and private comfortable space with headphones on and a blanket and journal nearby. At times, the practice can come upon suppressed emotions, memories, thoughts or sensations that feel uncomfortable or scary; see if you can go beyond thinking about it and breathe through it so you can move through it, release what no longer is working and create space for what does.
Healing in Community
I use both breathwork and energy healing in my own spiritual practice and they have legitimately changed my life! One other thing that’s been key to my own healing is finding a community to practice and grow with.
The path to healing can sometimes be lonely, so I created a dedicated community to practice both Integrative Energy Healing and Breathwork in every month. You are always welcome in that space!
