Here’s What I’m Adding to my Babylist Registry For Baby #2!

When I was pregnant with Jupiter in 2020, I was staying at home, doing all of my baby-gear research online, and making a Babylist registry. Now that I’m pregnant with our second baby, I have a better idea of what’s essential, what’s nice to have, and what didn’t work for us. We’ve definitely kept some of Juju’s baby items, and we’ll use them for our second child, but there are still a few items that we want to have on hand.

Since I couldn’t check things out in person last time, I wanted to get some hands-on experience. So I recently visited the Babylist showroom in Los Angeles, which really brings the registry process to life. You can test-drive (or should I say test-walk) strollers, check out clothing, and build a registry. Which is exactly what I did! I have to say, I was LOVING the opportunity to look at (and try) everything IRL.

If you’re not in LA, you can still use the Babylist site or app to curate everything you need (or are dreaming of) for your baby. What’s really nice is that it’s ridiculously easy. You can add any item from any store, and if you have no idea where to start, the Babylist app has a checklist of items you’ll want to have on hand. Then, anyone who wants to shop your registry can do it in a super-streamlined way.

Need a few ideas for your own registry, or maybe you’re attending a baby shower in the near future? Here’s a peek at the Babylist registry that I put together. Everything is non-toxic and meant to make that first year safe, easier, and fun. I also highly suggest registering for diapers and wipes—because as this second-time mom can tell you, you’re going to need a LOT of those.

xo,
Ashley
