People Can’t Enough of My Husband’s Oatmeal Recipe and You Need to Try It ASAP

My husband is really good in the kitchen, but his oatmeal recipe tops everything else. We call it Mr. French’s Oatmeal, and I swear all of our guests beg him to make it every time. It’s a simple breakfast recipe but Chris’ toppings make it the perfect cozy meal for starting off your day. Chris has Type 1 diabetes so it’s crucial for him to have a consistent diet and this oatmeal recipe really helps do that. I promise you this is one of the most delicious breakfast meals you’ll ever whip up, and you’ll keep coming back for me. Keep on reading to try the famous Mr. French’s Oatmeal.

What you’ll need:

  • Steel-cut oats
  • Peanut butter
  • Almond Butter
  • Flax Meal
  • Seeds
  • Nuts
  • Berries
  • Cinammon

Instructions:

  • Bring 2/3 cups of water to boil
  • Add 1/3 cup of five-minute oats (preferably steel-cut)
  • Lower heat to low and cover, then let it sit for five minutes
  • Add one big scoop of peanut and/or almond butter and mix
  • Add flax meal, seeds, nuts, or any toppings of your choice
  • Add berries for a hint of sweetness
