Magic Is in Store This Pisces Season

02.21.2024 — Brittany Beringer

When it comes to dreaming big, there’s no time quite as magical as Pisces season. And there’ll be plenty of opportunities to manifest all of your 2024 goals as the sun ingresses into the romantic sign of Pisces on Feb. 18. Pisces is the sign of innovation and imagination, so expect a burst of creativity energy—and a few downloads from the universe. Since Pisces season completes the zodiacal year, this is an especially sensitive (and naturally emotional) time to reflect and tie up loose ends.

Welcome to Pisces Season

Falling between approximately Feb. 18 and Mar. 20 each year, the sun basks in the mystical energy of Pisces. The creative and optimistic spirit of Pisces makes this season the perfect time to tune into the mysterious vibe of the universe as our intuition is extra sensitive right now. That’s because the water sign rules everything unseen (i.e., intuition, magic, and imagination). These themes come alive during Pisces season in the form of spiritual awakenings and psychic downloads.

Symbolized by two fish, Pisces appears in Greek mythology in the story of the goddess of beauty, Aphrodite, and the god of carnal love, Eros (aka Cupid, BTW), who, in an attempt to escape the monster Typhon, transformed into two fishes and swam away. That’s probably why Pisces gets its reputation for being an escapist.

The water sign also rules our emotions, meaning Pisces desires connection and romance. That said, we’re prompted to observe the world with an open heart. But beware of the rose tint, dear reader, because as beautiful as it is to align with the spiritual realm, there’s plenty of room for delusion, too.

Your Seasonal Forecast

Remember when I said this is a magical season? Mercury, the planet of communication and thought processes, meets up with the sun in Pisces on Feb. 22, so you might have vivid dreams or notice that some of the hunches you get are legitimate. Plus, this happens to fall on 2/22, a super auspicious angel number in numerology that represents harmony and balance. In other words, the perfect day to connect with others and manifest.

Pay special attention to the energy you want to attract because the full moon on Feb. 24 is supercharged with the dutiful energy of Virgo. Practical and reliable, Virgo energy allows us to organize and sift through all the necessary steps to bring our goals to life. Think of this lunation as a reality check needed to balance out the no-boundaries mindset of Pisces.

On Mar. 9, Mercury ends its trek in Pisces and crosses over into fearless Aries, daring us to speak our minds and taking a leap of faith without worrying about the consequences. On one hand, this is the perfect cocktail of confidence and imagination, but on the other, Aries’ energy may raise our suspicion that everyone is competing against us. Don’t let the paranoia invade your ability to connect with and care for others, though, because the Pisces new moon, which arrives on Mar. 10, sets the foundation for spiritual alignment, which you’ll need a clear head for.

Closing out Pisces season is Venus in Pisces on Mar. 11, bringing magic to our artistic endeavors and probing our inner romantics. In other words, Venus in Pisces gives us permission to love and create freely without the limitations of fear and doubt. Whether you’re ready to sprinkle magic in your world or eager to release your inhibitions, Pisces season 2024 has something to learn—you just have to open your heart.
