How to Help With Relief Efforts in Los Angeles

01.16.2025 — The Frenshe Editors

Our Frenshe team is based in LA and our hearts are breaking as we witness the fires that are sweeping through our community. But if we know one thing about this city, it’s that it has heart—and we will come together to help one another come back from this.

Being Frenshe is supporting recovery efforts with a $100,000 donation to the LAFD Foundation—an organization that is doing incredible on-the-ground work to make sure that firefighters and first responders have the tools, equipment, and resources they need. We love LA and we’re in this for the long haul. If you’d like to help on-the-ground relief efforts, we invite you to join us in supporting the LAFD Foundation or any of the below organizations that are doing this crucial recovery work.

Baby2Baby

This Los Angeles nonprofit has already donated more than two million emergency supplies—diapers, food, formula, and more—to babies and children affected by the fires. Donating will help them continue to help the littlest Angelenos in this time of need.

California Fire Foundation

The California Fire Foundation supports firefighters, their families, and victims of wildfires in a multitude of ways. Right now, they’re providing direct financial support to people who have lost their homes in LA.

American Red Cross

If there’s ever a disaster, the American Red Cross shows up ready to help—and stays there to help. Funds will help the American Red Cross provide shelter to people in LA while also supporting ongoing in Hurricane Helene relief efforts in North Carolina.

Los Angeles Regional Food Bank

For decades, the LA Regional Food Bank has been providing sustenance to vulnerable communities. Right now, it’s continuing to feed people in need while also supplying them with essential non-food items such as blankets and toiletries.

Canine Rescue Club

Love dogs? This LA organization is busy securing food, medicine, and other essential supplies for displaced pups and other dogs in need of fostering.

Richard Devylder Disaster Relief Fund

Some people with disabilities have lost the critical devices and equipment they rely on for daily living. This relief fund aims to restore that crucial equipment ASAP.
